Federal government is closed Tuesday Feb 9, 2010, according to OPM.gov.  Obviously, the federal government is closed on Tuesday not because of its budget, but because of the big snow storm.

This begs of course a few questions. 1. Why doest OPM use twitter. 2. Why doesnt OPM have an RSS feed. 3. Why doesnt OPM */ its webpage. 4. Why doesnt OPM have an email alert system. 5. Why the federal agencies have not initiated their COOP plans.
