John Hughes Tribute On Oscar

John Hughes The Late writer, director and producer  has received a rare special tribute — that his fans agree was well worth the validation of their work.

John Wilden Hughes, Jr. was an American film director, producer and writer.Hughes died of a heart attack on August 6, 2009, while walking in Manhattan, where he was visiting his family.He was 59 years old. On that morning, Hughes was on West 55th Street in Manhattan when he was stricken with chest pains.
There are several reasons why this is true, but here are some that I consider most important. As the author of a new book on Hughes and his films (among others), I have spent the last few years immersed in the world ofJohn Hughes , interviewing people who worked with him (including actors like Molly Ringwald, Matthew Broderick, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson and Ally Sheedy) and loved it. And through this process, which was largely completed at the time of his death reminds me again and again, asJohn Hughes .
