The Federal Government Closed Wednesday Transactions

Federal Government U.S. Office of the Personnel Management announces that they will still be closed on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 because the snowstorm continues to affect the region.

230,000 federal workers at home for a second day on Tuesday and many shops shut or closing early as more snow was predicted to pound the US East Coast, bringing another 9 more inches (23 more centimeters) of snow. Offices were remaining closed at least through Wednesday.

Again, Federal Government closed Wednesday. The federal government was closed on Tuesday in the Washington area. It will be closed again tomorrow, Wednesday, due to the snow storm still lingering around the State.

Airports in Washington were closing early Tuesday, roughly a day after they reopened for service following the weekend storm.

OPM Announces that on Tuesday the Fed Gov Will Be Closed

Federal government is closed Tuesday Feb 9, 2010, according to OPM.gov.  Obviously, the federal government is closed on Tuesday not because of its budget, but because of the big snow storm.

OPM has announced that on Tuesday the Federal Government will closed Tuesday The OPM Website is currently experiencing a civil servant DOS while federal workers anxiously query the site to find out what’s up. This begs of course a few questions. 1. Why doest OPM use twitter. 2. Why doesnt OPM have an RSS feed. 3. Why doesnt OPM */ its webpage. 4. Why doesnt OPM have an email alert system. 5. Why the federal agencies have not initiated their COOP plans.

OPM Federal Government for operating positions Monday, February 8th, 2010 has been announced: federal agencies will be closed.

United States Bureau of Personnel Management Web site may have problems, and people from the floods in the site to see the federal government to run the state on Monday rather than Washington, DC, “snowmageddon”.

However, there are definitely closing in store for tomorrow.
