CNN taps Candy Crowley to lead reconfigured Sunday show

Crowley will be starting on Sunday, February 7th, replacing John King, who launched the State of the Union just over a year ago. King will move to host the CNN on the day of the week at 7 pm

CNN) new Sunday lineup will feature State of the Union in a new block of one hour (instead of 4 hours of original) at 9 am, followed by Fareed Zakaria GPS at 10 am and reliable sources at 11 am

The hour-long show airs at 9 a.m. ET, and is repeated with updates three hours later. Crowley has been with CNN since 1987. She has covered all but one of the national political conventions since the nomination of Jimmy Carter in 1976.
