CNN taps Candy Crowley to lead reconfigured Sunday show
Crowley will be starting on Sunday, February 7th, replacing John King, who launched the State of the Union just over a year ago. King will move to host the CNN on the day of the week at 7 pm
CNN) new Sunday lineup will feature State of the Union in a new block of one hour (instead of 4 hours of original) at 9 am, followed by Fareed Zakaria GPS at 10 am and reliable sources at 11 am

CNN Announces New Sunday lineup Begin to 7 February at 9 am
Senior political correspondent Candy Crowley was appointed anchor of CNN on Sunday morning political program, and the State of the Union, was announced today by Jonathan Klein, director of CNN / US Crowley will take the reins of power at the beginning of the program Sunday, February 7th 9 am to 10 m). The program will continue the tradition of hosting an hour ofpolitical newsmaker interviews together with the analysis of the week the most important issues.
“Candy for the rare combination of wise insight and a healthy disregard for politicians play games and make it one of the most honored journalists andpolitical personalities, one of CNN viewers,” said Klein. “Every day one of Washington has said it will translate words into English and clear that every American can understand, because they were doing better than any reporter to overcome decades of time.”
Veteran CNN correspondent Candy Crowley will be host of the network’s Sunday morning political talk show.
Crowley replaces John King, who is leaving the show he started after one year. King has a new weekday evening show that’s expected to debut on CNN soon. Her appointment was announced on the air Sunday.
The hour-long show airs at 9 a.m. ET, and is repeated with updates three hours later. Crowley has been with CNN since 1987. She has covered all but one of the national political conventions since the nomination of Jimmy Carter in 1976.
